Mr. Sanjit Bhattacharya has 25 years of experience as an entrepreneur and business builder. He is the Founder and President of Red Stone Resources and its associated companies. Red Stone has developed significant positions in the Bakken, Haynesville, STACK, SCOOP, and MERGE plays. Red Stone entered the Marcellus and Utica plays in 2016 and is now expanding into the Permian - Midland and Delaware basins. Since 2007, Red Stone and its predecessor entities, under the stewardship of Mr. Bhattacharya, has aggregated and divested a significant amount of minerals and non-op interests with a robust track record of success. Mr. Bhattacharya has a degree in business administration from Cameron University and is frequent speaker at a number of industry conferences and events.
Shan began his career in factory automation and robotics and then transitioned to the defense industry where he led teams on interceptor missile and autonomous systems program. Shan spent the next 10 years working with LDRA Technology Inc developing their business across, avionics, defense, automotive, silicon, and medical device verticals. He has been on industry standard bodies, frequently authored articles and spoken at reputed conferences. Shan has been advising Red Stone Resources since 2012 on several initiatives including operations enhancement and business process optimization. In 2017, Shan formally joined the Red Stone Group of companies as EVP to help drive RSR’s continued growth and innovation. Shan has a degree in Computer Science from Cameron University.
Yuki Narula has over 20 years of experience in corporate development, strategy, investing, mergers and acquisitions and capital raising. Yuki most recently served as Head of Finance for the Adani Group – North America and prior to Adani, he was a Managing Director at Altpoint Capital where he was a member of the Investment Committee. Preceding his role at Altpoint, he was an Executive Director at JP Morgan’s Financial Sponsor Group. Yuki was also an investment banker at Merrill Lynch and Lehman Brothers. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with honors from Grinnell College, and an MBA from The Anderson School at the University of California Los Angeles.
Clayton started his career at Devon Energy working all aspects of reservoir engineering for a 12-rig program in the Barnett Shale, including management of the reserves database, tracking competitor activity, running project economics and help pick new drilling locations. He then transitioned to PostRock where he handled all reservoir engineering projects for over 2,000 wells with dramatic increases in production and a reduction in declines, while regularly evaluating assets for acquisition and divestitures. At RSR Clayton leads a multi-disciplined science team to evaluate acquisitions, and support divestitures across various basins nationwide. Clayton graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Senneca Stone has spent the entirety of his 12 year professional career working in the oil and gas industry in the Appalachian Basin. Senneca has worked in every facet of land and land management with a primary focus on acquisition strategy. He has managed title and acquisition teams on behalf of several E&P companies operating in the tri-state play, including Shell Western Exploration and Production and Chesapeake Energy. Senneca has a Bachelor of Arts in Pre-Law/Philosophy from St. Bonaventure University.
Melissa has worked as an oil and gas prospect generator for over 15 years in both conventional and unconventional reservoirs in multiple basins. Since February 2018, Melissa has been working for Red Stone Resources evaluating asset packages throughout Oklahoma (STACK, SCOOP, Arkoma Woodford), and helping to accumulate assets to expand the company’s current portfolio in the Haynesville, Marcellus, and Permian. Prior to Red Stone, she did operations geology in the Mississippian Lime Play at Sandridge Energy, she worked on the Canaan Resources’ A&D team evaluating deals in the Fayetteville, Marcellus, Barnett, Eagle Ford and Granite Wash, and she spent several years consulting. Melissa began her career at Devon Energy where her internship lead to a full time job offer giving her experience in the Anadarko and Arkoma Basins. She earned her B.S. in Geology from Eastern Illinois University with a minor in Geography before attending Oklahoma State University earning a M.S. in Geology in 2005.
Steve started his career as an exploration geologist with Samedan Oil Company, now Noble energy, where he worked in nearly all US basins and some international areas. In 1999 he joined Chesapeake Energy as lead geologist for the Southern OK region and was responsible for various discoveries that led to drilling the first ever Woodford horizontal wells in OK. In 2006 he joined Sandridge Energy as lead geologist, then became manager of geological teams in the A&D group, and eventually Chief Geologist. He also served as VP of Exploration for Kirkpatrick Oil. Steve joined RSR in 2017 and provides analysis and guidance on current and future acquisition projects. Steve has a degree in Geology from Baylor University.
Red Stone Resources, LLC was founded in 2012 as an oil and gas company focused on buying and selling mineral rights and working interests. The company has grown rapidly since then and established offices in Oklahoma City, Dallas, Marshall, and Pittsburgh and continues to build position in the Andarko, Appalachia, Haynesville, and Permian basins.
