Chase was co-founder and Managing Partner of Contender Energy Partners. That is a Permian-focused mineral and royalty fund. He was responsible for leading Contender’s acquisition and divestiture teams. They oversaw over $200 million in mineral, royalty, and leasehold transactions. Chase founded and became CEO of a Texas-based oil and gas exploration and production company. The company dealt with prospect generation, leasing, drilling, and development of prospects. These were all in parts of Central Texas and Northern Oklahoma. 2018 Chase was honored as one of Texas Oil and Gas Investor’s top Forty Under 40 business professionals. Chase attended Texas Christian University, where he studied business. He earned an Energy Finance Certificate from Southern Methodist University. In addition to that, he earned a Land and Leasing Certification from the University of Texas.
